PROJECT MISSION

Our project aims at providing European educational environment with methodological and technological solutions to support schools and teachers in the tools that will help to eliminate or minimize the negative impact on students exposed to several years of remote education caused by the Covid 19 pandemic.

In our international community of schools and educational companies we found a consortium which is implementing Erasmus+ project  " European Recovery Strategies for Education after Covid 19".

Polish, Icelandic, Romanian and Italian teachers are working on development of "DIGITAL BRIDGE", "BRIDGE OF INNOVATION", "BRIDGE OF SOCIAL INCLUSION" and "BRIDGE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP". Each of these bridges stands for separate strategy to support education.

Our mission is to build connections, BRIDGES which will join European actors of educational sector to support the development of students, parents, teachers and schools to cross the rapid river of Covid that jeopardised many years of European education.

PROJECT TEAM MEETING IN POLAND

PROJECT KICKOFF MEETING IN POLAND

On 27th January Bridges' partners from Romania and Iceland visited Polish project coordinator n Białystok.

During the visit we managed to reach the goals:

PROJECT TEAM MEETING IN ICELAND

From 14 to 17 March, as part of our  "Bridges ..." project, the Erasmus team from Poland, Italy and Romania visited the Icelandic partner from GeoCamp.

The aim of the meeting was to participate in the  training on the topic innovative teaching method , Flipped Learning. In this international company we were working on recovery strategy for education after Covid 19 ( we were building our project Bridge of Innovation).

Moreover, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the Icelandic education system and admire the phenomenal nature of Iceland. The magical places we visited were the Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, Thingvellir, where the parliament (Alþing) used to gather for nearly 900 years, the deep Almannagjá gorge that formed at the junction of two tectonic plates, the spectacular Gullfoss waterfall and Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. Additional attractions of the visit were swimming in geothermal springs and the unforgettable view of the northern lights.

Our next project meeting will take place in October 2022 in Romania where we will work on the Entrepreneurial Bridge.

PROJECT TEAM MEETING IN ROMANIA

Another Erasmus adventure by Bridges Team. This time for Romania!

From 2 to 5 October, our delegation of students and teachers visited a partner school in Romania as part of the project "BRIDGES. Recovery Strategies for education after Covid-19". The visit was attended by representatives of partner schools from Poland, Italy and Iceland.

Students attended workshops on entrepreneurship, while teachers worked on developing a remedial strategy for education by enriching students' competences in business skills.

We also visited Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and had the opportunity to get to know the culture of our friends by watching folk dance shows, listening to a concert of local Romanian music and trying Romanian national cuisine.

Active students and teachers who want to take part in other project activities and improve their English are invited to participate in the next project visit, which will take place in March in Italy.

PROJECT TEAM MEETING IN ITALY

CIAO SOLEGGIATA ITALIA!

On 19th March 2023 our project team came to Bergamo to visit our Italian friend AFP Patronato del San Vincenzo.

We were delighted by the hosts’ hospitality and had a chance to cherish the spring in Italy. Our project team feels inspired by Italian approach towards inclusion processes at school.

During the conference in frames of “Bridges’’ project meeting Italian project managers, Laura and Michela presented their previous projects aimed at activating and inclusion of young people into educational processes. As the project team we took part in workshops on the topic of integration of the disabled students and these ones at the risk of social exclusion. Within our international project community we shared Polish, Icelandic, Italian and Romanian experiences of strategies for education to support students with fewer educational opportunities and students coming from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Thank you, Italy!

Now it’s time to work on our common recovery strategies for education after Covid-19. Thanks to the project visits that we have realized so far we became equipped in the knowledge and practical hints based on observations in each project country to create the solutions which result from the synergy of Polish, Italian, Romanian and Icelandic experience.

DIGITAL BRIDGE

Strategy to master the processes of administrating a school with digital tools will help our partners to respond to the educational challenges posed by distance learning during Covid 19. Our strategy has to be the guideline for the use of  such tools as Google Clasroom (to manage educational materials and homework) and applications of digital tools for teamwork : Jamboard, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive, thematic channels on Slack - #general as a broadcast channel.

BRIDGE OF INNOVATION

Strategy to master teaching workshop  by the usage of  innovative methods like Design Thinking  or Flipped Classroom. These methods allow teachers and students not only solving a problem (e.g. noise in the corridor), but also acquire or develop a lot of new, soft skills (e.g. cooperation in various groups) and learn in an interesting way (e.g. maths). by measuring and analyzing the school space).

The design thinking method allows you to shape other skills that disappeared among students as a result of long term isolation, lack of contact with peers.

BRIDGE OF SOCIAL INCLUSION

Presentation of good Italian practices in the field of school integration of disadvantaged people: migrants, dropouts, students with autism spectrum (the group of students most affected by Remote distant learning during pandemic) will allow project partners to experience how much we can do to make the school a place where everyone has equal opportunities.

The conference on inclusive education will give us an insight into this issue from the perspective of different countries and exchange ideas for solving the problem of exclusion at school. During the meeting we will collect data, examples of good practices, consult our ideas to develop the policy to make social inclusion and diversity another  recovery strategy for education

BRIDGE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP

By developing this strategy we head for:
